Somalia's military has dealt a significant blow to the terrorist group Al-Shabab, killing 27 fighters in a large-scale operation. The Ministry of Defence reported that the operation, conducted in the autonomous state of Jubbaland, was carried out with the support of international partners who provided air strikes.The operation, which took place across the Lower Jubba and Middle Jubba regions, targeted the districts of Jilib, Xagar, and Afmadow.
